Patterned on repeat

Blazer: Zara
Top: Zara
Pants: H&M
Necklace: H&M
Pumps: Fabiani
Bowling Bag: Belmondo
Belt: Mango

I just love the versatility of those diamond patterned pants. Depending on the occasion they can be dressed up and down. Click here to see how I styled them in a more streetstyle way.
This time I styled them office appropriate by adding those leather buckle pumps that I reshoped in my closet (6 years old MIAUH) and that lovely tailored black blazer. I just love how that hunting green ads that splash of colour to my look in an elegant way. The bubble necklace gives that statement and playful touch.
As a business laywer specialised in employee law and Human Resources Management working for a young and dynamic company its inevitable to exude modernity- in my opinion anyways :-)
Whosoever said that office clothes have to be boring will be disabused!

New Series: "An Old Flame Never Dies"

Background: Castle Heiligenberg
Blouse: Forever 21 (12 months old)
Leather jacket: Zara (4 months old)
Skirt: Zara (2,5 years old)
Clutch: Asos (9 months old)
Boots: H&M ( 2 years old)
Tights: H&M (3 years old)
Overknee Socks: Boutique in Netherlands (5 years old)
Hat: H&M (1 year old)

The view on the Alps, lake constance and the castle of my older apartment in Heiligenberg :-)

Having an overfilled closet and some serious high payments that need to be done on my student loans plus my recent broken car for the next half year, I came up with the idea of starting a series "oldies but goodies". Remixing older clothes that has been in my wardrobe for several years and maybe decades that still can be trendy :-)
Sometimes I have the feeling that bloggers are fighting to be the very first one to show off the latest trends or newest articles that were brought out. That might be appealing to those one who have a pretty big budget and no financial duties but for somebody as me who has to pay off stuff it's not possible. I want to encourage my lovely readers to be creative and rethink styling possiblities with some oldies. That is not only a fun challenge but your bank account will highly appreciate it ;-)

What I love about fall is LAYERING and pulling off my looks with opaque tights, overknee socks and boots. Digging out my 3 year old plaid skirt is my loyal signifcant companion during the fall/winter season and that every year. Checked pattern are absolutely timeless and can be combined with a variety of different colours. I picked up the colour palette that is  used  in my skirt and build my look around these colours. The hat and the ruffles on my blouse give it a fun and playful and vintage touch...

How do you like to deal with older items? Do you consider them to rewear them over the years or clear your clothes out every season?

PS: In the next days I will ask some of my blogger friends to participate in that series, I will link them on my blog and that will be so much fun. So stay tune or let me know who wants to participate.  I will contact you then :-)

Series 3 in 1: Variety of a printed scarf blouse

There is no denying that my printed scarf blouse is one of the most used items in my closet. Past examples are seen (here)  and (here). When I spotted this blouse at the Zara store in the spring time, it was love at first sight and I immediately started planning various outfits in my head. I love that it can take a rather simple outfit and instantaneously jazz it up. Money well spent, since it has been on heavy rotation since joining my way to overfilled closet. Do you like incorporating an item to various looks?
I think I will do a series of how to remix one item into many different looks as we don't have an unlimited budget to get new clothes all the time- well at least not me!!!!!!

Do you like that kind of post? Let me know! I planned on doing this kind of post once a month.

 Blouse: Zara

Snaked in Peplum

Coat: Zara (old)
Peplum top: Zara
Snake Pants: Zara
Clutch: Mango (old)
Heels: Via Uno (old)

All you need to look classy is a nice black peplum shirt with some embellishment around the collar, a snake printed pants and a a beige trench coat- EtVoilá!
I found some plum lipstick at my mom's, thought I'd  like it but looking back at the pics, it doesn't suit my skin colour at all and it makes my already small lips look even smaller *bummer*
Anyways, have a lovely start in the week!

PS: My blogger friend Krista from junkindigginggettinlost did the styling for a photo shoot of this amazing country singer Michelle Rene "But I try" last week.  Check out the website of this truly talentend country music artist Michelle's Website and you can listen to her songs.
I have her song as my background music, so make sure you have your speakers on  (Jenny don't forget to turn them on hahaha)  ;-)
Check it out, terrific country voice if you are such a huge country music fan as I am :-)

Where IS my star shoes?

 Skinny Jeans: H&M
Shirt: Mango
Sneakers: Converse
Sunnies: Esprit
Bag: Friies & Company
bracelet: C&A
Ring: Bijoux Brigitte

When my man I went to Serbia to visit my family in August, my nephew was wearing a shirt that said "Where is my star shoes" with some cool converse shoes on it. That totally cracked my boyfriend up. Wearing converse sneakers in my freetime, he refers to it now with a serbian accent, hahaha so funny :-D
What do you think of clothes where they misspell or have grammatical erros in the sayings?

Getaway at Chiemsee

 Necklace: HRH collection Sheba
Shirt: H&M
Shorts: H&M
Shoes: Jeffrey Campbell

I posted about my fun time at the Ocotberfest (here ). My man and I booked a lovely wellness spa hotel at the chiemsee to get some relaxation and spend our last weekend together. After the sauna and swimming my skin felt so great, have to make it to a routine, especially in the winter time, when it so cold outside the sauna does not only strengthen your immune system but makes your skin so flawless and soft. For our trip back I wore a pretty simple yet chic fall outfit. What do you usually wear, when you are on a longer road trip? Do you like going to the sauna? We met two really sweet american couples in that hotel at breakfast time, who said sauna is not an american thing, is that true?

dotty with splash of red

Blazer: H&M
Dress: H&M
Pumps: Pier One
Necklace: H&M
Ring: Gift from my bf''s mom
Sunnies: Guess
Bag. Chanel

I am pretty much dressed up with H&M items. Love it when I can purchase affordable fashion in the chicest of ways. H&M makes it totally possible. Especially this year I found so many eye candy dresses there that can be varied in so many ways with coloured blazers, vests and cardigans.
I have to find a way to be able to wear this beautiful dotted dress (here combined with a different blazer) in the winter, maybe with some black tights, some nice riding or ankle boots and some coloured neck turtle under it or a nice embellished cardigan :-) We'll see what I will come up with.

By the way, how you like the songs played in the background. I picked some country music and piano/instrumental pieces from my favourite south corean movie "autum tale/ in my heart ost. Oh my gosh this story is so touching and made me cry. You have to check it out on youtube if you are such a lovey dovey and romantic woman as I am :-)

PS:You would make my day if you would check out my facebook page and show me some love by clicking like on it :-)
