Fashion in Winterwonderland with basic items

Denim: rag & bone;  Top: Esprit; Stripe shirt: Tommy Hilfiger;  Hat: Bijoux Brigitte and Eisbaer; Vest: Zara old; Scarf: Express old; Boots; Tom Tailor via Zalando; Leather gloves: Görtz

When it comes to winter fashion I like to invest on qualitative good basic  items and create different layers for an interesting mixture and of course to be comfy warm. With the right accessories as a checked blanket scarf, leather gloves and a cute hat the simplicity of a winter ensemble can get a fun twist. Martitime color combos like red blue and white  with stripes are my absolute favorite.
I love how much snow we got in Lake Constance Area.
For me pure happiness is jumping in the snow and catching snowflakes with my tongue. I'll seriously never outgrow the excitement of surrounding myself in the magic of winter wonderland. There is not point in growing up if you can't be childish sometimes. Cheers to the inner child and being stylish while playing in the snow :-)

Houndstooth Dress 3 ways

Outfit 1: Mangenta Blazer: Forever 21; Dress: H&M; Heels: Jessica Simpson via ShoeDazzle; Statement Necklace: Zara; Clutch: Hugo Boss
Outfit 2: Jacket: Orsay; Heels: Nine West; Bag: Chanel
Outfit 3: Fur Vest: TjMaxx; Gloves: Görtz; Boots: Zara; Scarf: C&A

A houndstooth dress is such a classic piece that can be styled in various ways and a simple change of accessoires and a jacket can change its appearance. One of my goals this year was to shop as little as possible because I have clothes for the rest of my life really. I made this new purchased dress my center piece and reshopped the rest to make it look differently.

The first Ensemble is a great look that can be worn in the office or even to a christmas party. The mangenta adds a flash of color to the black and white monochromatic look. I had this blazer for years and its really an all year arounder. I was at first a little bit sceptical to wear tights with opentoe heels but at the end I loved the result. I just don't want to put those beauties to winter sleep yet.

The second look reflects a typical monochrome look. The motojacket gives the elegant dress a more edgy touch and looses the "strictness" a litt bit up. The jacket and nice detailed boots are closet staples for years now.

Option 3 is a typical winter edition. The fur vest, the knee boots and leather gloves transform this dressto a modern and elegant winter ensemble. Itsn't great how just a simple red scarf and some lipstick can change the occurence?

Have  a happy second Advent y'all! Only 9 days till I see my love in the states, super excited <3

Put some leather gloves on it- Chic Winter Ensemble

Dress: Zara last seen here; Cape: Marshalls last seen here; Boots: Mai Piu Senza; Gloves: Görtz; Bag: Vintage

Floral pattern has always been a significant style of me, it underlines my bubbly romantic playful personality- it also influenced the choice of my bloger name "fleurani".
No pattern can be styled so versatile, so I am presenting you an elegant floral winter ensemble in saturated colors to tone down the "sweet playful" factor . The dress got a wintery touch by using winter key pieces as my leather gloves, boots and a cape. So who said florals are only for the spring/summer time -this look can disabused you.

I am so happy to announce that Annette @lady of style won the beautiful statement necklace. I have emailed you. CONGRATS!
